From Agilent to ZEROPLUS, all Logic Analyzers and MDOs are welcome
Extensible, stackable, and written in Python 3. We have one of the biggest libraries of protocol decoders even compared to commercial offerings.
With librocco and libroccodecode you can integrate logic analyzer and protocol decoding support into your own frontends or test setups.
Import and export traces in multiple formats, such as raw binary, VCD, CSV, and more.
Deep dive traces looking for bugs with RoccoView or use rocco-cli for shell-scriptable automation.
The Rocco Logic project is a revival fork of the sigrok project. We are grateful to all the developers and maintainers that have poured their efforts into sigrok over the years.
Rocco Logic continues the legacy of sigrok aiming to create a portable, cross-platform, Open-Source signal analysis software suite that supports a wide range of devices1.
We also want to focus on maintaining the commons and on software by humans for humans. This means we have a Code of Conduct to define the rules of engagement including the prohibition of AI tool use for any project contributions.
If you have any questions, comments, or just want to hang out you can get in touch with us via IRC or Discord! The channel is bridged between the two platforms so you can choose which platform suites you better.
The channel hosting is maintained and provided to the project by 1BitSquared We don't have a mailinglist or forum set up yet.
Unlike Sigrok our goal is to refocus the project on logic analysis, improving maintainability. This means we will not widen the support to non logic analysis specific devices like multimeters. The support for them will not be actively maintained and will potentially be removed over time.
